Inspired by the Queen of Cups (Rider Waite Tarot deck), Leonard Cohen's song Anthem and The River Flows In You by Yiruma.

 

Surrounded with water and high cliffs that the force of the sea created, the supportive hands of God arise above the water holding life with care. In His hands there is a pearl (You are a pearl in God's hands) that is cracked open like a avocado seed that opens after a while when you put it half in water and a new plant is born. This crack in the pearl allows new live to grow that is carefully nurtured by light, warmth, water and love.

 

"There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in". 

 

Even when life treats us rough and we have scars/wounds ("The wound is the place where the light enters you - Rumi"), we can rest in God's presence, grow stronger and become the beautiful soul we are meant to be, no matter of our past. We can drink from the living waters with the roots in the sea (the water flows through us), but we cannot drown as we are lifted up. The holy light shines on and in us. 

 

The water symbolizes our inner and outer world that flows through our lives sometimes stormy and sometimes calm. But the mountains are still standing even when stone has fallen off. 

 

A sea shell (referring to Queen of Cups) protects life from strong winds where you can shelter safe as in a cocoon. The gradient colors in the sky refer to the Colors of Life. Blessings to you 💜
