A labyrinth is a tool that can be used for different purposes. This is a smaller finger version of an ordinary labyrinth that you can walk somewhere in nature. 

 

The Chakra-vyuha (from India) represents the way of initiation and meeting yourself in the center. Unlike a classic labyrinth, this one ends in a spiral shape, which represents the other side of you.

 

A labyrinth is different from a maze where you can get stuck, because a labyrinth automatically leads you in and out again. That is why it is often seen as a tool to get closer to your own core and to clarify issues. 

 

This ocean drum is meditative in different ways: not only has it the healing properties of a nature sound resembling the ocean waves, but because of the labyrinth it has this extra tool of going deep within. You can move the drum around and follow the labyrinth with your eyes, or you use the labyrinth alone in meditation, without the sound of the drum. The coloured background is soft and soothing for the eye, giving it a spacey feel of journeying to other dimensions.
