This beautiful shamanic goatskin drum has a very deep low tone with strong vibrations that carry far. Because of the large size, but still light frame, you can carry it around and hold it in front of you to shower yourself in deep tones and feel the vibration! A very powerful tool for yourself and others, one on one or in groups. Very suitable for shamanic journeys and sound healing. Meditative and hypnotizing.
The front is painted with high quality acrylics and then covered with 8 layers of water based spray varnish for protection and finish.The drum can also be played by hand like a frame drum. Also because of the large size with multiple people simultaneously as a gathering drum. It has a cross on the back for carry and hanging, strapped with leather for soft holding. I will include a caring instruction with the package.
About the design:
Skin colour in shades of deep red and dark brown tones. Symbols in black and bronze. Variation of the Celtic Triskele/ Triskelion which represents a tale of forward motion (motion signify energies) to reach understanding and each leg stands for the 3 worlds:
the present physical realm;
the spirit world of our ancestors;
and the celestial world of the sun, moon, stars and planets.
It can also be seen as the 3 unities in humans itself:
Annwn - underworld with cosmic symbol of the moon
Antes - level of ordeal and physical existence; cosmic symbol of earth
Gwynvyd - fully unfolded mind, state of love; cosmic symbol the sun.
The Triskel is made together with Black Ravens. They represent Death and Rebirth. Perfect for this time of Year, fitting the celebration of Samhain.
The beater has a black soft felted head with a wax red star ending; black feathers and the runes Isa (ice; cosmic coherence), Mannaz (man; divine union/manifestation) and Peorth (heart; divination/luck/primal law).
